The Cloud of Time I & II zijn ontstaan in een samenwerking tussen Anique Weve en Daan den Houter. De fotografie van Anique Weve is gecombineerd met een ijssculptuur van Daan den
Houter. Hierna is het beeld opnieuw vast gelegd en zo is het definitieve beeld ontstaan. Het beeld is geïnspireerd op de fotobeelden van seances in de jaren 1920 en het korte verhaal The Garden of Time van J.G. Ballard.

The Cloud of Time I & II emerged from a collaboration between Anique Weve and Daan den Houter. The photography of Anique Weve was combined with an ice sculpture by Daan den Houter. The resulting composition was then re-photographed, creating the final image.

The work is inspired by photographic images of séances from the 1920s and the short story The Garden of Time by J.G. Ballard.
